The Intellectual Property Crime Portfolio of CEPOL is organised under the EMPACT (European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats) framework, in cooperation with EUIPO. The framework and cooperation is strong, and we have activities already planned for 2024 and 2025.

Our goal is to train law enforcement officials in charge of detecting and investigating cases of counterfeit or pirated goods. To achieve this, we are implementing a variety of activities, both online and onsite.

I strongly believe that it's important in law enforcement training, to work with both public and private sector, in order to achieve best performances and be aware of new threats that occur.
