More success for AAPA members in the fight against piracy

AAPA members supported a search warrant, executed on 25TH June by Lancashire’s Economic Crime Unit in Blackpool, supported by the Force Cyber Unit. A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Conspiracy to Defraud. Two cars were seized including a Range Rover Sport SVR V8 and an Audi A5 convertible. A large quantity of furniture / valuable / designer goods were seized. £100K was also seized from bank accounts. Along with £14,000 of Cryptocurrency. The operation disrupted some 32,500 pirate customers. – users of the service. The website as taken down and police enquiries continue.
